Specifically centering around relationship issues, Just Between Us offers counseling for those seeking an alternative to face-to-face traditional therapy, or others simply preferring the utmost in privacy, comfort, and flexibility.
About the Counselor
Lisa Paisley-Cleveland's experience spans nearly 30 years, encompassing a variety of roles, from direct service to top leadership management positions in the mental health, higher education, and human service sectors.
Lisa’s areas of expertise include professional development training, program development and implementation, and program evaluation. Her clinical experience includes private practice, where she contributed for nearly a decade, working with adults on relationship and adjustment issues. As Director of Clinical Services for Northside Center for Child Development, NY, Lisa provided clinical supervision to professional staff. Earning her Master Trainer status with the National Office of Communities In Schools, Arlington, VA., she also provided training in the areas of Performance Measures, Board Development, Strategic Planning, and Team Building for numerous leaders and organizations throughout New Jersey. Lisa has extensive experience as a lecturer on mental health and organization issues, and has taught online and in the classroom in higher education arenas for numerous years, most recently at Hunter College (Sociology Department) in New York, NY.
Lisa is President and Founder of SharperVision Consultants, a training and consultant company. She currently oversees the recent online and offline service expansions, focusing on knowledge and skill development in the area of relationship building at the professional and personal level.
Lisa graduated from Howard University and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from New York University’s Graduate School of Social Work.
She is an advance standing candidate at City University Graduate Center, Ph.D. Program in Social Welfare, New York, N.Y.
Lisa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the State of New York with an additional R - psychotherapy privilege qualification.
